In August, USF opened the Bellini College of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Computing. USF launches state's first college of artificial intelligence. In the Oct. 31 episode of Florida This Week, faculty member Dmitry Goldgof joined a panel on innovation in the Tampa Bay region to discuss the ethics of AI. He explained that for AI to be trusted, especially in mission-critical applications. It must be explainable he said, saying that it must be able to show how it arrived at a decision.
