Creative Teens Take Center Stage at USF for the 2025 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards
Brimming with imagination, talent, and bold perspective, the 2025 Hillsborough County Region Scholastic Art & Writing Awards lit up the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ’s College of Design, Art & Performance this May. From gallery walls to the mainstage, students in grades 7 through 12 showed what happens when young artists and writers are given space to explore and the power to express their personal vision.

USF’s Breaking Barriers Returns with a Poetic Look at the Power of Objects
This spring, the USF Contemporary Art Museum unveils Breaking Barriers: Beyond the Object—a photography exhibition that reimagines still life through the eyes of those who’ve lived extraordinary lives. Featuring the work of thirty-two U.S. military veterans and their family members, the show invites viewers to pause, look closely, and consider the personal meaning we place on everyday things.
