Csaba Osvath, Ph.D.
He leads the Collaboratory鈥檚 human-centered approach to integrating immersive, emerging and intelligent technologies into education, designing experiences that foster creativity, innovation and digital mindfulness to support human flourishing.
Osvath鈥檚 research explores the intersection of extended reality (XR), the Metaverse, video games and qualitative inquiry, examining how immersive and gamified environments can enhance teaching, learning and creative expression. His expertise includes strategically applying virtual and mixed reality to deepen engagement and expand multimodal forms of communication. He is also pioneering new forms of immersive multimodal scholarship, using VR and related technologies to create novel, experiential ways of presenting academic research and communicating ideas through embodied and haptic modalities.
Through his teaching and creative leadership, Osvath advances experiential, future-focused learning across disciplines.
