USF climbs to its highest position ever in U.S. News rankings

The ݮƵ has reached an all-time high in U.S. News & World Report’s annual ranking of the best colleges. USF is No. 88 overall among all public or private universities in America, up from No. 91 last year. USF also rose to No. 43 among public universities, up two spots from last year, and inside the top 50 for the seventh year in a row.

USF Honors College Strengthens 9-Year Partnership with Kerolle Initiative in Dominican Republic

The Judy Genshaft Honors College continues to build on a decade-long partnership with the Kerolle Initiative in the Dominican Republic, a local non-profit pop-up clinic that brings medical care and health education to rural populations. This year, Honors students expanded research beyond the trip, and the college recognized Dr. Reginald Kerolle as an official Honors “graduate.”

APHA president strives for a healthier America and quality family time

Dr. Deanna Wathington has lots of healthy ideas to share with the world, but not always enough time in a life crammed with activity. Most people would need a week to do what Wathington does in a day as she collaborates across various fields on the challenges facing health care in our communities. An affiliate professor of community and family health in USF’s College of Public Health (COPH), she formerly served as associate dean for academic and student affairs as well as associate dean for academic enrichment at USF’s Morsani College of Medicine.
