An exceptional SAT score can significantly enhance a student's chances of gaining admission to top universities. The USF SAT Summer Institute, available in-person and online at our Tampa and St. Petersburg campuses, offers a comprehensive review course designed to help students achieve their best possible scores.
This program covers essential topics, including math and verbal skills, effective study tips, and practice with typical exam questions. Students will learn proven test-taking strategies, such as tackling different problem types, utilizing the process of elimination, and managing their time. With sample tests to measure progress, participants will sharpen their skills and gain the confidence needed to excel on the SAT and stand out among their peers.

When does registration open for the USF SAT Summer Institute?
Registration for all 2026 summer camps will open on February 1, 2026.
What is the capacity of the USF SAT Summer Institue?
Each session of the USF SAT Summer Institute has a capacity of 30.
What is the refund/cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or transfer a camp registration, please email youthxp@usf.edu.
Cancellations or transfer requests received at least 15 business days prior to the camp start date will be eligible for a refund or transfer to another available camp, minus any administrative or processing fees. Cancellations or transfer requests received within 15 business days of the camp start date are not eligible for a refund or transfer. No refunds will be issued after a camp has begun, regardless of the number of days attended or participation level. No refunds will be issued if a participant is dismissed from camp due to a violation of the camp’s conduct policy or code of behavior.
We make every effort to run all camps exactly as scheduled. In the unlikely event it becomes necessary to cancel, postpone, or combine camps, or change a camp location, you will be notified by email or phone. Please ensure your contact information is up to date. If USF cancels a camp, you will receive a full refund. If USF reschedules a camp, you will have the option to receive a full refund or transfer to the new session.

The USF Office of Youth Experiences has partnered with Educational Testing Consultants (ETC) to bring you the USF SAT Summer Institute. ETC, a leader in university-based test preparation, specializes in providing top-tier services to help students excel in standardized testing.
Where is the USF SAT Summer Institute located?
We’re excited to announce that the 2025 USF SAT Summer Institute will be offered on two USF campuses—Tampa and St. Petersburg—as well as online! Detailed information about specific locations on each campus will be available on their respective program pages.
What time is drop-off and pick-up for the USF SAT Summer Institute?
Our staff will be ready to greet your child for drop-off at 8:50 AM at the designated camp location, with pick-up beginning at 1:00 PM. If you are running late for either drop-off or pick-up, please give us a call at (813) 974-3355 to keep us informed.
What are the dates and times for the USF SAT Summer Institute?
We are still finalizing the dates for the 2026 USF SAT Summer Institute. However, the in-person sessions typically run Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 1 PM. The online sessions follow a different schedule, which will be provided closer to the program start. Stay tuned for updates!
