Undergraduate Majors

Study Abroad

Students who study abroad expand their global outlook of people, language, and culture. The experience provides practice in understanding people from different languages and cultural backgrounds. It challenges students to visit and revisit the ways in which they treat those from other cultures.

The Zimmerman School of Advertising & Mass Communications offers multiple opportunities for its students to participate in programs developed by Zimmerman School faculty members. For more information, contact .

IPRA in Barcelona Summer 2026 Study Abroad Program
May 13th - June 26th

This is your opportunity to live, learn, work, and play in Barcelona. The 6-week   program, open to all students, includes an exciting 3-credit internship, tailored to your interests, with companies in Barcelona, PLUS the IPRA culminating course MMC 4410 IPRA Campaigns. That's 6 credit hours total. And more hours of fun than you can imagine. Grants and scholarships apply. You don’t have to be able to speak Spanish, even for the internships, but this will be an excellent opportunity to learn and practice. For every student, a study abroad experience, especially an international internship, is one of those once in a lifetime experiences that will help you, and your resume, really get attention. Say Si to IPRA in Barcelona.
