Who We Are

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ (OLLI-USF) is part of USF’s Office of University Community Partnerships and is powered by a dedicated team of USF employees in partnership with a passionate community of volunteers. We offer engaging, no-pressure learning experiences for adults age 50+, creating opportunities to explore new ideas, connect with peers, and stay intellectually active.

OLLI-USF is more than classes—it’s friendships. Through clubs, interest groups, volunteer teams, and social events, members build a sense of belonging that extends well beyond the classroom.

With no prerequisites, no exams, and no grades, our programs are designed to be accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Volunteers play a central role in shaping OLLI-USF. Our Story

Founded in 1993 as USF’s Division of Senior Programs, OLLI-USF became part of the national network of Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes in 2005 through generous support from . The Oshers, Bernard and Barbro, are philanthropists who have channeled their generosity into education, medicine and the arts. Today, we are one of Florida’s premier lifelong learning communities and a proud part of USF’s commitment to educational access and community engagement.
