Licensing
Become a Licensee
USF partners with both internal and external organizations to ensure the responsible and successful use of the university’s intellectual property and brand assets.
Internal licensees are university affiliated groups such as departments, researchers, and faculty partners who obtain licenses to commercialize intellectual property developed at USF. These licensees work closely with the university and have direct access to institutional resources and support.
External licensees are companies or organizations outside the university that obtain permission to produce or commercialize USF owned intellectual property. While they operate independently, all external licensees must adhere to USF’s brand standards and licensing requirements and remain in good standing through ongoing review and approval.
